Corporate Compliance Plan

Our Compliance Program

Our Corporate Compliance Plan serves as a focal point of our mission to serve the health and rehabilitative needs of the community and to improve the quality of life for each patient, resident, family member, visitor, and co-worker with whom we come in contact. We are committed to integrity as the fundamental guiding principle for the actions of all our employees and any others who act on our behalf. Our goal is to prevent fraud in the delivery of health care service programs as well as prevent the abuse of the public funds supporting the programs, regulate patient care, patient referrals, and prohibit false statements to the government. As our reputation is created by the collective efforts of our personnel, it is important that everyone, (including external business partners, vendors, contractors, and other agents), meet the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct.

Notice of Privacy Practices for Protected Health Information

The HIPAA Privacy Rule gives individuals a fundamental new right to be informed of the privacy practices of their health plans and of most of their health care providers, as well as to be informed of their privacy rights with respect to their personal health information. Health plans and covered health care providers are required to develop and distribute a notice that provides a clear explanation of these rights and practices. The notice is intended to focus individuals on privacy issues and concerns, and to prompt them to have discussions with their health plans and health care providers and exercise their rights.
